Microdul describes two different principles used for low-power capacitive sensing. The characteristics for capacitive sensing for both touch, proximity or capacitance measurement are illustrated including references to applications.  Examples of the different types of electrodes are given. Further development in terms of an EU H2020 project will be presented. The types of market and a product overview will be listed.
