Everyone knows a need to reduce sensors integration costs and eliminate cybersecurity risks. In this session you will learn about industry initiative to solve these challenges. The initiative is led by IEEE, the world’s largest standards organization and a trusted neutral party, includes global companies, US Government, academia, and other stakeholders. The past work that included 3 webinars, a white paper, a Roundtable meeting of industry leaders has given IEEE a clear idea for a path forward. You will learn the proposed architecture, standards (communication, data, cybersecurity), infrastructure (PKI, Registries). The scope includes edge devices (sensors/actuators), edge gateways and the Cloud. An important topic will include data sharing and queries.  You will learn industry requirements, proposed solutions, and a timeline. Attending this session will help your company prepare for changes.
