Almost every industry is looking for new ways to implement technology to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and the bottom line. But for most organizations, they have room for trial and error. Not in agriculture – timing is crucial. Farmers only get one chance a year to produce the best possible crop to provide the food and clothes the global population depends on. Add in continued labor shortages, extreme variability, and increasing demand, and they’ve got more than just a bottom line to think about. Today, farmers use advanced machines equipped with technology like cameras, sensors, computer vision, machine learning, and connectivity to perform precise tasks at a tremendous scale. This allows farmers to extend their limited workforce and focus on the most pressing and complex aspects of their operations. This presentation will explore:
  • The challenges farmers face in feeding and clothing our growing population.
  • The technologies that help farmers enhance the efficiency and accuracy of their farming operations.
  • What technology is in the pipeline to make the connected, autonomous farm a reality sooner than you think.
